Reading Percy Bysshe Shelley’s The Mask of Anarchy on the Anniversary of the Peterloo Massacre (VIA ZOOM - REGISTRATION REQUIRED BY 10 AUGUST)

Professor Susan Wolfson from Princeton University and Professor John Bugg from Fordham University will host a live reading of Percy Bysshe Shelley's The Mask of Anarchy on the day when the Peterloo Massacre, which inspired Shelley's poem, took place in 1819.

The event will commence on 16 August at 2:00 pm EDT (8:00 pm CEST) and readers will include Giuseppe Albano, former Curator of the Keats-Shelley House.
