32nd Keats-Shelley Poetry Prize for schools - The Winners

The winners of the thirty-second Keats-Shelley House Poetry Prize for Schools were announced on 9th June, 2023 by our new Curator, Dr Ella Kilgallon, and Deputy Curator, Dr Luca Caddia.

This year's competition themes were:

"Starsor "Heroes" for Primary school students
"Natural elementsor "Peace" for Middle school students
"Successor "Solitude" for High school students

Primary school students

Winner: 'Stars Heal'  by Olivia Guido from St. Francis Internatinal School, Rome

Specially commended: 'The stars' by Lola Luchetti from Marymount International School, Rome


Middle school students

Winner: 'The Symphony of Life'  by Virginia Marzia Massone from Marymount International School, Rome

Specially commended: 'Nature' by Atticus Newlands from St. Francis Internatinal School, Rome


High school students

Winner: 'The Solitude Within Me' by Rosa Mele from St. Stephen's School, Rome

Specially commended: 'The Violet Hours' by Marko Jakovlievic from St. Stephen's School, Rome





Primary school students

Winner: 'Le orecchie magiche di Josephine'  by Jennifer Marisa Di Bacco from Istituto comprensivo “G. Tedeschi”, Pratola Peligna (AQ)

Specially commended: 'Che cos'è un Eroe?' by Maria Gloria Maglione from St. George’s International School, Rome


Middle school students
