Autograph letter and envelope addressed by Sir Charles Hobhouse to Harry Nelson Gay
In this letter Sir Charles Hobhouse reports having seen 'Lady Hobhouse to ascertain whether Byron was in Rome in, 1813 and 1814'. Lady Hobhouse was the daughter-in-law of the Hobhouse who had been Lord Byron's great friend and travel companion to Rome.
