The influence of John Keats on John Tyndall — a talk by Nicola Jackson

KEATS-SHELLEY PRIZE 2021 winner Nicola Jackson will give a talk on the influence of John Keats's poetry on the work of John Tyndall, a nineteenth-century physicist. 

 

Nicola Jackson holds a Natural Science degree from Cambridge University and a doctorate from the University of Oxford. She worked in Further and Higher Education, and took an MA in Writing Poetry with Newcastle University and the Poetry School, London, in 2017. She has published her own poetry in a range of newspapers and journals, and her first poetry collection Difficult Women won the Geoff Stevens Memorial Prize. She co-edited a human rights poetry anthology Write To Be Counted in 2017, and The Poetry of John Tyndall, UCL Press, in 2020. She is the winner of the 2021 Keats-Shelley Prize (Essays).
