The collection of the Keats-Shelley House includes a small but growing number of paintings, miniatures, sculptures, antique furnishings, and decorative art. Highlights include a number of portraits by Joseph Severn, the artist who accompanied John Keats to Rome and who cared for him in the House till the end of his life.
The collection has been amassed since the foundation of the Keats-Shelley Memorial Association in 1903, with a large number of items donated to the House over the decades, and a small number of art works purchased in recent years.
